Luke Mayeux, M.S., LPC Associate, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas supervised by Amber Pilkington, M.Psy., LPC-S. Luke combines the wisdom and healing found through his clinical studies and lived experiences to help his clients conquer mental health obstacles, combat shame, & strengthen interpersonal relationships.
In counseling, Luke believes that the mind, body, and spirit are intimately connected and provide us with the answers we need to live a fully integrated life. Luke’s approach to counseling is eclectic and depends on what his clients need, while also placing an emphasis on mindful presence & trauma-informed care. Luke is a Certified Field Traumatologist through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. As a CFT, Luke is trained to deploy with FEMA to provide psychological first aid to natural disaster survivors and communities affected by war. Luke is passionate about humanitarian relief and humbled by the opportunity to advocate for those at home and abroad. In his previous work with school children (K-12), Luke utilized play & art-based interventions to address early childhood trauma, self-esteem & body image issues, and behavioral concerns through individual & group sessions. Camille Slush, M.S., LPC Associate, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Amber Pilkington M.Psy., LPC-S. Camille desires to walk alongside her clients to understand their unique story and experience. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Camille’s academic research and personal experiences highlight her understanding of grief and loss and their effect on human functioning.
Camille believes that each person is unique and must always be viewed through a comprehensive & holistic lens. While Camille gravitates towards a psychodynamic approach, she remains client-centered, working with each client to help them understand themselves, their emotions, relationships, pain, circumstances, and past events. With a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Counseling from Catholic institutions, Camille specializes in spiritual integration from a Catholic-Christian perspective, and also has experience working with clients from various belief backgrounds. All are welcomed and respected, and spiritual-integration is always client-led. When not counseling, Camille enjoys hiking, camping, reading mystery novels, and learning how to crochet. |
